Delete your data

Open Luma, go to the You tab, and choose Delete my voice.

This removes, immediately:

• The recording you made.
• The cloned voice held by our audio provider.
• Every audio file that was generated from it.

Your cards, goal and reminders stay exactly as they are. Audio simply switches back to one of the three Luma voices, and you can record again later if you want to.

Open Luma, go to the You tab, and choose Delete my account.

You are signed out immediately and your account stops working at once. Nothing is queued for review and no one has to approve it.

You then have 30 days to change your mind. Sign in again within that window and everything is exactly where you left it. After 30 days it is erased permanently, and at that point there is no restore, no archive and no way for us to bring it back.

Your voice is the exception: the recording and the voice built from it are destroyed the moment you tap delete, and they are not part of the 30-day window. If you come back, you record again.

Uninstalled it already, or lost access to the device? Email privacy@lumamanifest.com from the address you signed in with and we will delete everything for you.

Sending from your sign-in address is how we confirm the request is really yours. If you have to write from a different address, say which address the account uses and we will verify before deleting anything.

• Your account and sign-in details.
• Every onboarding answer — your goal, your reasons, your reminder times, all of it.
• Every affirmation card Luma has ever written for you.
• Your voice recording, the cloned voice at our provider, and all generated audio.
• Your session records.

Once the 30 days are up this is permanent, so if you want a copy of anything, save it before the window closes.

• Records of subscription payments, where tax and accounting law requires us to hold them. These contain no affirmations, answers or audio.
• Backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis and fully cycle out within 30 days.
• An anonymised copy of the affirmations themselves, described below.
• If you have used a free trial, a one-way scrambled form of your email address — a fixed-length code that cannot be turned back into an address — so that one person cannot take repeated free trials by deleting and signing up again. It holds nothing else.

When your account is erased we keep the text of the affirmations Luma wrote, so we can tell over time which kinds of writing actually land. It is separated from you first, and permanently:

• No name, no email, no account identifier, and nothing linking a card back to a person.
• None of your written answers. Your goal and your reasons for wanting it are where people name employers, partners and places, so they are never copied.
• Only the multiple-choice answers come along — an age band rather than your age, your country, and the sliders you set.
• Dates are reduced to the month.

There is no key that would let us or anyone else rejoin this to you, because the record it would join to no longer exists. If you would rather we did not keep even this, say so when you delete and we will exclude you.

Deleting your voice is immediate and final. Deleting your account takes effect immediately — you are signed out and it stops working — and becomes permanent 30 days later. A request sent by email is handled within 30 days, and usually much sooner; we will reply to confirm when it is done.

Deleting your Luma account does not cancel a subscription — the app store handles that. Cancel in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions, or in your Apple ID subscription settings, or you may keep being charged.
